Warranty

We build Voodoo Cycles to last and to take you on many rides. In case you find something is not up to Voodoo’s quality, you can use the following warranty conditions.

Voodoo Cycles warrants to the original buyer of a Voodoo frame and rigid fork (if applicable), that the product, for which they received this warranty, is free of defects in workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

Voodoo Cycles warrants to the original buyer of Voodoo components or parts that the product, for which they received this warranty, is free of defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Voodoo Cycles warrants to the original buyer of a Voodoo frame and rigid fork (if applicable), that the paint is free of defects in workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. Paint warranty excludes normal wear and tear caused by use and/or exposure to outdoor elements.

Voodoo frames and rigid forks used for commercial activities, which include but are not limited to rentals, fleets, sharing, by public or private organizations, are warranted by Voodoo Cycles to be free of defects in workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. Customers who intend to use Voodoo bikes for commercial use should apply for a commercial license with Voodoo Cycles at the time of purchase to benefit from our commercial warranty. Please consult us prior to purchase for more information.

This warranty does not apply to components and parts from other brands fitted to Voodoo bicycles. Such components (which include, but are not limited to: suspension forks, rear shocks, groupsets, wheels, etc.) are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties. Please contact their respective manufacturer for warranty information. If you can’t find, or you are unsure of, the original manufacturer, please contact us and we will help you find the contact information.

This warranty only applies to the original buyer of a Voodoo product purchased through an authorized Voodoo Cycles Dealer or directly from Voodoo Cycles website. This warranty is not transferable to second hand users.

The original buyer must keep the proof of purchase (sales invoice) from an authorized Voodoo Cycles Dealer in order to make a warranty claim. It is Voodoo Cycles sole discretion to honor this warranty without a proof of purchase.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Voodoo Cycles will not accept responsibility if, in its sole discretion, the part or parts require repair or replacement as a direct result of:

Normal wear and tear in consumable and/or perishable components. These components include, but are not limited to: handlebar tape and grips, bearings, braking parts (pads, rotors, hydraulic fluid, cables), rubber parts.

Damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper maintenance or assembly (by the original buyer or a third party on original buyer’s behalf), shipping, accidents, or failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual.

Inappropriate modification or alteration of the part from its original condition in any manner outside normal intended use, which may affect the performance, durability or safety of the part.

Damage caused by use of a bicycle for stunt riding, ramp jumping, or acrobatics.

PROCEEDINGS

In case of any unconformity with a Voodoo product, please find your proof of purchase as it will be needed when filing a claim under this warranty. If the problem is likely to cause further damage or presents any kind of safety risk, please stop riding your bicycle immediately.

To start the process, contact the official Voodoo dealer from which you purchased the part and make an appointment so they can inspect the part. If this is not possible, or you bought your Voodoo from an official online retailer (such as Voodoo Cycles itself), please contact Voodoo Cycles directly or Voodoo’s distributor for your region.

Voodoo Cycles, or the official Voodoo dealer on behalf of Voodoo Cycles, is the sole responsible for determining the validity and resolution of a warranty claim. If a warranty claim is deemed valid, Voodoo Cycles will repair or replace the defective parts with those of equal or similar value, at Voodoo Cycles discretion.

This warranty does not cover labor or shipping costs that may be incurred by the warranty claim.

LIABILITY

In no event shall Voodoo Cycles and any of its employees, representatives, distributors, dealers or agents be responsible or liable for any direct, incidental or consequential damages occurring from the purchase, ownership or use of Voodoo products or services, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic loss.

Some jurisdictions do not allow some of the preceding statements. If any statement of this warranty is deemed invalid by the applicable law, it shall be considered modified so as to be valid, enforceable and consistent with the provisions of the applicable law.

This warranty provides you specific legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

CRASH REPLACEMENT PROGRAM

Crashes are arguably the worst part of being a cyclist, so we would like to offer some relief in case your Voodoo frame/rigid fork is damaged. After every crash, independently of how minor it looked, please thoroughly check your bicycle for damages. In case of any doubt, stop riding your bicycle and consult with your Voodoo dealer or a qualified professional mechanic.

If, after a crash, your Voodoo frame and/or rigid fork is permanently damaged, we would like to relieve the pain of having to say goodbye to your beloved Voodoo part, and will offer a replacement at a reduced price. Please contact us for more information about the program.
